Polka Dots

Downtown Phoenix has been my go to spot lately to feel those big city vibes here in Arizona. I also fell in love with this set from a trendy little store in Chandler called T. Madison. So wearing it downtown made me feel put together. If you haven't heard of this clothing shop, check out they're Instagram or stop by if you're local. It's in a family owned furniture store that is so trendy, I could've filled my dream house.

Lost Lake Festival

This past weekend I went to the first ever Lost Lake Festival! Superfly, the company that put it together, reached out to me to attend and of course I was interested. I'd only ever been to Coachella but this same company puts together Outside Lands and Bonnaroo so I knew their product would be amazing.

I received two tickets so I brought my boyfriend with me to check out the event. We stepped inside the gates on Friday and were taken back by how beautiful they set up the venue. Everyday they added a little more so it got better and better. I can't wait to go again next year!

Oversized Denim

Even though Phoenix still can't make up it's mind if it wants to cool down or not, I've been determined to wear fall clothes. I found this oversized denim jacket at the mall and fell in love, so once the temps hit high 80's I wanted to find anyway to wear layers. I've been searching for one for a while but couldn't find the perfect fit. This one was perfectly ripped and just the right size! Between my internship and school, I'm ready for cozy fall nights.

Palm House SF

If you're looking for a place to find some tropical drinks in San Francisco this is your spot. Palm House is full is light and live plants, giving you the feel that you've just left California and transported to Hawaii or Jamaica. We started off with the Pina Coladas in these cute coconut glasses. The Mai Tai also comes in them. I ordered a Tropic Thunder for my second drink, soooo good. It had gin, passion fruit, bitters and more then garnished with the cutest flower. I ordered the Island Breakfast and loved it. My parents were fans of their sandwiches as well, so I definitely recommend both food and drinks.

Checking In: Dream Inn Santa Cruz

This past week, Brendan and I hung out around my hometown so I could show him where I grew up before we go back to school this fall. We booked a night at the Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, California. In my opinion it's the best hotel in the town. Every room has an ocean view and the pool has an entrance right onto Cowell Beach. If you like to surf you can rent boards right outside this entrance, then there's a surf spot on the beach as well. You can also walk to the Boardwalk for rides, the wharf for food, and a short drive to other spots like Capitola for a drink.

Here's some footage from our day in Santa Cruz.
